Information We Collect

When public forms and subscriptions are opened, we may collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, work email, company, website URL, industry, and enquiry details.

Hosting, security, and content-delivery providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details, timestamps, and security events in ordinary server and protection logs.

How We Use Information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Respond to enquiries and requested website investigations after those forms open.
  • Send newsletters or updates only after subscriptions open and you choose to subscribe.
  • Prevent abuse and protect the website.
  • Meet legal and operational obligations.

Analytics and Cookies

Factory Investigator uses Google Analytics 4 and may use Google Tag Manager to understand aggregate website traffic, article engagement, form-success events, and campaign performance. We do not intentionally send form message text, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying form contents to analytics tools.

Factory Investigator may set a first-party attribution cookie named fi_attr_v1 for up to 90 days. This helps preserve first-touch and last-touch campaign/referrer context so enabled forms can include source information with the enquiry. The cookie is used for attribution and measurement, not advertising retargeting.

WordPress, Hostinger, LiteSpeed, and Cloudflare may use essential technical storage or security mechanisms needed to deliver, cache, secure, and protect the site. If a cookie-consent tool such as CookieYes is enabled, the site will use it to manage optional analytics consent where required.

Service Providers

The current website uses WordPress, Hostinger hosting, LiteSpeed, and Cloudflare for website delivery, caching, security, and operations. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager may be used for traffic measurement and event tracking. FormSubmit is used for contact and investigation-request form delivery when those forms are enabled. Newsletter storage or delivery providers will be listed here when newsletter capture is opened.

Your Choices and Rights

After email subscriptions open, you may unsubscribe using the method provided in the email. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational requirements.

Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to the Factory Investigator editorial mailbox once public form delivery is enabled, or to Mahesh Sirvi through LinkedIn.
